What is a fish, is a pet ? Depened, Yes, An Encyclopaedia would tell you it’s ‘a water-dwelling vertebrate with gills. Most are cold-blooded’. Go ahead to see more about TV fishes

Remember Nemo? Yes, from Finding Nemo, a 2003 movie. Nemo is a curious clownfish or anemonefish, which inhabit the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. They find refuge from predators in anemones. That’s why they never go far away from them. And what about Dora? She’s also from Finding Nemo, but she’s a regal tang. A very optimistic regal tang, by the way. Regal tangs live in tropical waters. Dora is harmless, but the real regal tang carry a sharp thorn on its tail, gaining the ‘surgeonfish’ name.

Some others like fishes but they are mammals, let’s go backwards now. Flipper! Remember the 60’s dolphin? It was a bottle-nosed dolphin, the ones that live in warm coastal waters. Dolphins are not exactly fish, but mammals, but they sure look like them. They can live up to 25 years.

Talking about other water-living mammals, we cannot forget Willy! It starred in all three Free Willy movies. It was a 35 foot 6 ton orca, and its real name was Keico. Orcas are also called killer whales, but they have never been known to harm a human. They’re fast swimmers despite their size and have a diverse diet. As mammals, they need to surface for air occasionally.

Our last fish pet star is not exactly a fish, but it lived among them, and it was very funny! It’s Sebastian from The Little Mermaid. Sebastian is a lobster, from the crustacean family. Lobsters have an outer shell called exoskeleton. They live on rocky, muddy or sandy bottoms. They have eight legs, two of them develop into claws.
